Canada offers international investors, and their family members, Canadian permanent resident status, in return for the investment they make in Canada.

There are currently two investor programs for immigration to Canada; Federal Investor Program and Quebec Investor Program.

Parallel to investor program, both Canada and Quebec offer a program for Entrepreneurs, those who wish to establish a business and create jobs in Canada, and for Self-employed persons, who wish to be their own boss.

Federal Skilled Trades Program - Language Requirements

FSTP applicants must meet the minimum level of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 5 for speaking and listening, and CLB 4 for reading and writing, in one of Canada's Official languages: English or French

Language tests accepted are IELTS and CELPIP for English, and TEF for French.

The following table shows the minimum required scores in the above-mentioned tests:
